Rachael
500HR E-RYT. Feminine Embodiment Coach. Trauma-Informed Somatic Educator.

At the age of 19 I was introduced to the world of somatics at university, and have since explored many pathways and tools to find my way back to myself over and over again, including; yoga, meditation, breathwork, dance and somatic practice, talk therapies, and embodiment work.
My path in yoga and somatics began as a personal exploration, a quest to uncover the hidden wisdom that resides within each of us. Through years of dedicated practice, study, and self-discovery, I've come to embrace the fundamental belief that the answers we seek already exist within us.

My approach is centered around embodiment – the art of fully inhabiting and experiencing your body in the present moment. Through personalised guidance, and tailored practices, I empower you to cultivate a profound connection with yourself, fostering self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a deep sense of inner peace.
With a decade of hands-on experience in the field of somatics, I've honed my skills as a compassionate teacher and space holder. My journey has encompassed in-depth studies in yoga, movement, and somatic practices, allowing me to curate a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern insights. This fusion equips me with the tools to help you navigate through the layers of your being.

Izzy
500hr RYT, Trauma-informed Somatic & Mindfulness Educator
Hey, I’m Izzy. I offer trauma-informed, therapeutic yoga and somatics, with a focus on supporting mental health and body acceptance. I'm currently based in Nottingham, UK.
How did I get here?
After battling with severe mental and physical health challenges, that all reached critical points in my early to mid 20’s, the trajectory of my life completely changed.
The discovery and exploration of mindfulness, yoga, and somatics supported my recoveries in ways that are beyond words.
I became a gal on a mission and dreamed of creating spaces where no-one would have to feel alone in their struggles. I wanted to share the deeply healing practices that had supported me in my various recoveries, and to offer the support and healing spaces that I wish had been more accessible.
When I discovered a trauma-informed approach to yoga, it immediately resonated. It was exactly the kind of approach I needed and knew I wanted to offer to others. In 2020 I completed a 100H training in Trauma-informed Yoga and Embodied Social Change with Yoga For Humankind. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in learning about trauma-informed and somatic approaches to healing and continue to experience their benefits firsthand in my own recovery.
I am now dedicated to holding safer, brave, and compassionate spaces that empower people to heal from trauma, feel at home within their bodies, and remember their wholeness.

The workshops were insightful and I loved how they were presented. I learned about things buried deep within my soul that were peppered out of me through the workshops. I loved how Rachael brought in other teachers that added so much depth and variety to the sessions.
